This multi-mount custom Super Feeder® features a particular dishwasher-safe bowl made which has a special high-grade kitchenware material called "SAN" by Kibisan® and especially built to split and spread kibbles for better food use of pets. Very compact--can fit under coffee table or other small area. Holds 4 and 3/4 cups of food. Feeder needs minor assembly requiring only a small and medium Phillips tip screwdriver to save on box size (shipping), packaging and possible damage translating into higher consumer cost.
Optional chute cover protective device is factory installed. Small 1/4"spherical/square kibbles like offered by Science Diet or other brands are recommended for very best performance and especially if portion accuracy is important to you. Please be aware that the feeder does not "count' kibbles, but tests have shown that an accuracy of +/- .1 to .2 ounce per portion per portion has been achieved for every two cycles with recommended kibbles. Most other cat food kibbles will work very well, but with so many shapes/sizes of kibbles on the market, it is impossible to predict exact results. Pyramid shaped kibble is not recommended. Performance guaranteed with recommended food! A slow-speed power adapter is also optionally available later to help with extremely small portions. Please be advised that due to variance of kibble sizes and shapes, 100% portion accuracy may not be possible for all feed cycles.
