This multi-mount custom Super Feeder® now features a particular dishwasher-safe bowl made having a special high-grade kitchenware material referred to as "SAN" by Kibisan® and particularly built to split and spread kibbles across the bowl for better food use of pets. What's more, it features a brand new quality Super Feeder® analog timer with red LED light indicator if the timer is on, and very simple to program tiny pins which are accustomed to trigger the feeder as much as 48 times per day if needed. The mounting bracket is black power coated, which attaches the feeder towards the already proven and compact heavy-duty black ABS base and tower. The Super Feeder® could be also used having a home automation system and/or internet based system. It is compact and holds 4 and 3/4 glasses of food (slightly over the quart by volume). An optional CHUTE COVER (outlet protective device highly recommended against food obsessed pets) can be purchased later direct from Super Feed or already installed on other combo now listed on Amazon as ASIN: B00428TOBC to guard against that "locksmith" cat--normally not required with most pets, but available if you think you'll need it. If purchased later, the bottom of the feeder will have to be taken off because it does not snap in or out. Small 1/4" spherical/square kibbles like offered by Science Diet or other brands are recommended for very best performance. Please be aware that the feeder does not "count' kibbles, but tests have shown that an accuracy of +/- .1 to .2 ounce per portion has been achieved for every two cycles with recommended kibbles. Most other cat food kibbles will work very well, but with so many shapes/sizes of kibbles on the market, it is impossible to predict exact results. Although performance is guaranteed with recommended food as described, please be advised that due to variance of kibble sizes and shapes, 100% portion accuracy simply cannot be guaranteed for all feed cycles. A slow-speed power adapter could also be used later to help with extremely small portions. Pyramid shaped kibbles are not recommended.
